Grand Forks Red River's Mya Mannausau fields a ground ball against Jamestown during the North Dakota Class A girls softball state tournament at Tharaldson Park on Thursday, June 1, 2023. FARGO — The Grand Forks Red River Roughriders took an early lead and held on late to defeat the Jamestown Blue Jays in a North Dakota Class A state softball quarterfinal game Thursday afternoon. The 5-2 win over Jamestown advances Red River to Friday afternoon's first semifinal game against Minot.
